Auno is a planning companion for iPhone, operated by AVENOR DEVELOPMENT TECHNOLOGIES LTD, No. 9 Acacia Osborne Estate Phase 2, Lagos, Nigeria. This notice describes the data flows in the current app, including what stays on your device and what leaves it when you use connected features.

1. Plans and information on your device

Your Auno calendar, tasks, focus-session history, chat history, preferences, and companion memory are stored on your device. Optional account sign-in does not currently provide cloud synchronization for these plans. Device backups may be managed separately through your Apple settings.

2. AI planning and voice

When you use chat, week generation, task breakdown, or AI memory features, your request and relevant context are sent to Auno’s Cloudflare-hosted service. This can include event and task titles, dates and times, planning preferences, selected chat history, and companion notes. Relevant imported calendar events may be included in planning context.

AI requests are processed using external providers. The current service uses OpenAI for planning. Voice recordings are uploaded when you use the microphone, then transcribed through Cloudflare Workers AI using Deepgram or Whisper; Groq may be used as a fallback when configured. Transcripts can then be used to plan your day. AI features need an internet connection.

Auno asks for your explicit permission on an in-app disclosure screen before any of this information is sent, and you can withdraw it at any time in Settings → ai & privacy. With AI planning off, no new AI requests are sent to these providers. Local planning remains subject to your subscription or available access period. Auno’s service asks OpenAI not to store request and response content (the API’s no-storage setting); OpenAI may still retain data briefly for abuse monitoring under its own policies.

Do not include information you do not want processed by these services. Turning off companion memory stops that feature; it does not make other AI requests stay on-device.

3. Optional accounts

If you create an account, Supabase processes your sign-in information and stores an account profile, including your identifier, email address, display name, account timestamps, and a trial-start timestamp when used. Sign in with Apple and Google are supported through their respective authentication flows. Account sessions are used to keep you signed in.

4. Permissions you control

• Calendar: optional read access lets Auno plan around existing commitments. Auno does not edit or delete your Apple Calendar events.
• Microphone: used when you record a voice request. Audio is sent for transcription.
• Notifications: local reminders and focus nudges can be controlled in Auno and iPhone Settings.
• Screen Time: optional Family Controls access enables distraction blocking. Selected apps and activity information are not passed into Auno’s advertising-event code.

You can review or revoke these permissions in iPhone Settings. Features that depend on a permission may stop working when it is disabled.

5. Purchases and advertising measurement

Apple and RevenueCat process purchases, transaction identifiers, purchase history and subscription entitlements. RevenueCat also receives an app user identifier; signing in can associate purchases with your Auno account. Auno does not receive your full payment-card details. Credit grants, spending and refunds are recorded on your device and synchronized through your Apple iCloud account when available. Trial-start information can be stored locally, in iCloud and with your account profile.

Auno includes Meta’s SDK for install and campaign attribution: to learn which ad brought you to Auno and whether the app was set up or a subscription started. After onboarding, iOS asks whether Auno may track you (App Tracking Transparency). If you allow it, the advertising identifier and these events (app opened, onboarding completed, paywall viewed, purchase and its price) are shared with Meta. Auno initializes the Meta SDK and logs app events only while tracking permission is authorized. If you decline or restrict tracking, Auno does not initialize the SDK or send these events. Apple may separately provide privacy-preserving attribution. No Meta app event is sent before authorization. Calendar, task, chat, voice, and Screen Time details are never included. You can change your choice at any time in iPhone Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.

6. Hosting, logs, and retention

Hosting, authentication, and AI providers process technical request information such as IP addresses, request times, and errors to deliver and protect their services. Our service records diagnostic status and token-usage counts to investigate failures and control costs. Cloudflare’s standard Workers Logs retention is up to seven days. Rate-limit counters expire after 90 seconds. We do not maintain a server-side archive of your AI conversations or voice recordings in our Worker. Transcription and AI providers still process requests under their own retention rules.

Local plans, chat and memory remain until you clear them or remove app data. Your account profile remains while your account exists; the in-app deletion flow removes your authentication account and remote profile. Provider backups and security records may persist under the provider’s retention policies. Purchase records and credit accounting are retained to provide access, prevent duplicate credit grants, handle refunds and meet applicable accounting obligations; deleting an Auno account does not delete Apple’s purchase records or cancel billing. OpenAI may retain abuse-monitoring data for up to 30 days by default, or longer when legally required, even though we request no storage of API response state. We do not claim zero retention by our providers.

7. Your choices and deletion

In Settings, you can clear chat history, wipe calendar events, clear companion memory, or reset those local stores. These controls have different scopes. Deleting your account removes your login and remote profile but does not automatically erase local plans, tasks, or focus history.

8. Websites and international processing

These pages do not include advertising trackers or a mailing-list form. The hosting service may process access logs and use authentication cookies for private previews. Service providers may process data outside your country. We use these service providers to deliver hosting, account access, AI processing and billing. Their privacy and data-processing terms apply to their handling of information. Contact us with questions about international processing or your privacy rights.

Auno is intended for users aged 13 and older; users under 18 should use it with a parent or guardian’s permission. Contact us if you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information. Visit support for current help. Material changes to Auno’s data handling require an updated notice before the changed features are released.
